Here you will learn how you can contribute to the protection of the oceans with small things, both in everyday life and in special actions.

If everyone helps and makes only a small contribution, much is achieved.

Take your own bag when shopping,

instead of a plastic bag.

That way, your plastic bag doesn’t end up as a bag,

nor as microplastic in the sea.

When you get a coffee from the vending machine,

use your own cup.

Help clean up the beaches by participating in

Beach CleanUp activities.

Contact your local organizers.

Or get active yourself.

If you’re a diver, remember this:

The only things you take with you,

are garbage and pictures

and what you leave behind are bubbles.

After a nice day at the beach,

when you leave,

take everything back with you..

Don’t stub out your cigarette on the beach and leave it there.

Instead, take an ashtray with you and dispose of your filter remains in the trash can afterwards.
